Welcome to SCCT 5313 (March 2011 Intake)

This course focuses on concept, model and theory of communication within the framework of information technology. In today’s digital world, the science of communication has been changed drastically through new developments in communication technology and media. This course will provide information on how modern technology influences the science of communication and how society will adapt new communication models. The course will utilize real world scenarios, real projects and case studies for enhanced comprehension of theoretical material. The course will also utilize online learning through a class blog and discussion groups. Students will be encouraged to work and learn together with their peers through group activity and projects.
